Señor Loro, a recently exiled Cuban parrot who claims to be Fidel Castro's ex-pet, has flown the coop and immigrated to the shores of South Beach -- with a warped dream of expressing himself to the fullest -- by bringing his strange assortment of performer friends together and producing his own Latino television show!

His hybrid television series, which he first produced for the web, combines elements of a talk show with those of a sketch/variety show with puppets. Señor Loro performs opening comedic monologues and conducts desk interviews with guests in each episode. Musical numbers, sketches, and backstage interpersonal emotional antics between the puppets ensue.

FIRST SEASON DRAMAS include -- Mario The Butterfly is under threat of deportation, everyone resents a "corporate take-over", and the marriage of puppet telenovela stars Conchita and Ronaldo is on the rocks, as Señor Loro falls in love for the first time with a Cat!

To convey tone and style, here are some spec scripts which render the world of the series:

Wecome to Señor Loro's unpredicatble assemblage of characters in this wacky, and sassy late-night show, inhabited by third world puppets with sixth grade educations doing eighth grade comedy!

EPISODE 101 : SALUDOS!

In this first episode, Señor Loro introduces himself, and most of the cast. The Spanish word of the day is: "SALUDOS", or "GREETINGS". Like your favorite cast of puppet characters in every TV show, "los titeres" (which means "the puppets" in Spanish) warmly welcome you! Of course, there's a secret location where this show is produced -- an undisclosed studio in South Beach, Florida. Here, we make the first journey into the loving, laughing, racy, dysfunctional family that is: Los Titeres.TV

EPISODE 103: MOJITO

Having met all of the main characters, the show really gets cooking with zest with the new Spanish word of the day:"MOJITO", a Cuban-born alchoholic drink. EPISODE 105: ESTUPIDO

Everyone does stupid things, but when it's the "Word of the Day", you can bet everyone's really "ESTUPIDO" on Los Titeres. This time, Señor Loro thinks he's not competent enough to run his show, while Ronaldo has an affair with a fish; Naked Bob puts on winter gear, Schmedley abuses his pet dog, Scrappy, and Mary Juana ponders calling the cops on herself. Señor Loro's stupidity is called into question when he receives rave reviews from self-important butterfly reporter Mario Mariposa, who refers to Señor Loro (favorably) as: "perched" and "sick".
